Cochrane 1, which is observed on 3 hectares and is located near Buoy Bluff Creek and approximately 35 km east of Moose Factory North Bay 23, which is 0.3 hectares in size and is located along the north bank of the Main Channel of the French River, within French River Provincial Park Pembroke 1, which was confirmed early this evening and is 0.1ha in size. Not yet controlled and located near the west bank of Hydes Creek in Lower Madawaska River Provincial Park Sudbury 31, which is controlled at 0.2 ha and is located near the southwest shore of Lake Apsey and north of Bass Lake Road, south of Espanola

Fire danger in the area is mostly moderate to high in areas south of Timmins and east of Sault Ste Marie. Most areas north of Timmins are at low to moderate risk, except for the northeastern part of the Cochrane Sector which remains at high risk this afternoon.
