Man Shot During Attempted Robbery At Toronto Pharmacy Police

Toronto police said they responded to a shooting in the area of ​​Eglinton Avenue East and Brimley Road just after 8 p.m.
Two men reportedly entered a pharmacy brandishing firearms and attempted to rob it, police said.
At some point, according to police, one person was shot.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man with serious gunshot wounds.
Toronto paramedics said the victim was rushed to a trauma center in life-threatening condition.
Police said the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.  It is unclear if they were able to steal items from the store.
