At around 11.05am on Friday morning, road policing officers were called to reports of a single vehicle collision on the A82 near Tyndrum, Argyll and Bute. As a result, one person was taken to hospital and officers closed a section of the A82 between Fort William and Tyndrum. Hours later, emergency services were called to the A828 near Castle Stalker at around 2.30pm on Friday to reports of a collision between a car and a lorry. The entire Oban to Fort William road was closed by officers and it is currently unknown if anyone was injured as a result. It comes after a major crash closed the A82 the day before, where two people were pronounced dead at the scene. Police issued the warning on social media, telling drivers not to travel “unless absolutely necessary”. It read: “Major road closures on the west coast due to serious traffic incidents.
