We are grateful for the prompt response of the PGCPD. We will continue to work with them on their investigation.” At least a dozen people were standing and sitting outside the mall as police investigated the shooting. “It was crazy, you know, I was with my family and all that… So we see a bunch of people running, and I’m like, ‘Wait, a fight going down.’ It wasn’t a fight, man,” a witness told the News4. The mall was closed after the shooting but is expected to reopen Friday. Two teenagers were arrested after a man was shot and killed inside the same mall in March. DaQuan Dockery, 22, died inside a store at the mall. Two 16-year-old boys were charged as adults. “The Mall in Prince George’s has had two homicides this year,” Towers said. “The mall is aggressively ramping up security efforts.
