Peel Police Officer Charged With Threats After Off Duty Incident

Police have released few details about the incident, except that the Professional Standards unit began looking into the allegations five months ago.
On Thursday, police announced that Det.  Const.  João Moco had been arrested.
Moko, who has been in the service for 22 years, was charged with threats.  He will appear in a Brampton court in October.
Meanwhile, the Police Services Act inquiry will begin after his trial is over.
