BCWS information officer Taylor Colman says the fire, about 20 kilometers north of Kamloops, is showing category 2 and 3 behavior, meaning there is a visible, open flame with a slow to moderate rate of spread. Coleman says two initial attack crews have been sent to the fire, as well as helicopters and air tankers. More to come.
